DANIEL'S LYRICAL APPROACH

It isn't often you get a chance to hear an artist whose lyrics are as captivating as their music.
Fortunately, Daniel Rachel is one such rarity.
A writer of extraordinary depth and creativity, his articulate lyrics convey real life feelings recognisible to anyone experienced love, hope and disappointment - and fit perfectly with his taught electric guitar work
The 27-year-old former lead singer of midlands-based band Rachel's Basement plays the Port Mahon, in St Clements, Oxford on Monday. Be one of the first to discover a man who is set to become a huge name over the next 12 months.
If you get the chance, be sure to snap up, a copy of his debut single Driving 'Round The Bend/Burned By The Wire which has also been released, refreshingly, as a limited edition 7" vinyl.
These two songs have the rare ability to be simultaneously funny, sweet, angry, bitter and touching
