‘ON SONGWRITING’ will feature twenty five in-depth interviews with the UK’s greatest, living writers.

The heart of the book is to understand songwriting and the creative process behind the craft. The combination of personal incites and collective contribution will provide a unique historical document of an amazing epoch and fascinating art form. Artists discuss the creative process and craft of songwriting, disclosing lyrical and melodic inspiration and considering how the writing process is enabled.

Ray Davies tour programme - A new piece written by Daniel will be used for Ray's November tour of the USA.

The Kinks - Liner notes written by Daniel will be used for the June release of 'Face to Face' and in February 2012, 'Muswell Hillbillies'.

National Theatre - Daniel is assistant to the director, Rufus Norris on the critically acclaimed production of London Road.

Ocean Colour Scene - Read the liner notes of the new deluxe issue of 'Moseley Shoals' written by Daniel.

'Hearts and Bones follows the Top 30 success of 'Let It Be Mine'. The single comes as a digital only release and features an instrumental version and the original 8 track demo.

'Hearts and Bones' was produced by John McCusker (Kate Rusby, Paul Weller) and stars many of Kate Rusby's band including 2008 Folk Musician of the Year Andy Cutting.
